Between the Trees
|
Between the Trees is an interactive, performance-installation, which uses creative coding inspired by the intricate connectivity of mycelium, 'the internet of the forest'. Miniature ecospheres, suspended within the canopy of a tree, when touched, trigger a collective symphony of light and sound.
Between the Trees forms a shared, musical instrument. Guided by a surprising creature from the forest-undergrowth, participants create original compositions together in real time. Participants of all ages are enticed into a magical world of music, plants, humans and light. This playful, immersive experience, gently reminds us of our connectedness to the natural world and each other.
