Between the Trees is an interactive, performance-installation, suspended under the canopy of a tree, creating a magical world of music, plants, humans and light.
Between the Trees forms a shared, musical instrument. Guided by a surprising creature from the forest-undergrowth, participants are invited to create original compositions together in real time. Suspended, miniature ecospheres, when touched, trigger a collective symphony of light and sound.
This playful, immersive experience is inspired by the intricate connectivity of mycelium, 'the internet of the forest', gently reminding us of our connectedness to the natural world and each other.
