Fly By Night |
'Fly By Night' is a site-specific, immersive experience, created for the foyer spaces of Arts Centre Melbourne's Hamer Hall. Weaving together dance, physical theatre, sound design and video art, 'Fly by Night’ uses ipod devices to deliver a surprising, promenade-style, self-guided video-tour via a purpose-built mobile app. Presented by Arts Centre Melbourne and supported by the City of Melbourne, 'Fly By Night' premiered as part of Nite Art and Open House Melbourne 23-26 July 2015.
'Fly By Night' received a Green Room Award Nomination for Design in Contemporary Performance (Visual and Digital App Design). 'Fly By Night' is both site-specific artwork and also a way of working. The process has been designed to be applied to different venues and contexts. The 'Fly By Night' model showcased as part of the Australian Performing Arts Market 2016. |
