Who we are:Sylvie Meltzer (she/her) and Melinda (Min) Hetzel (she/her) are interdisciplinary artists with a passion for collaboration. They spent much of the last couple of years facilitating online creative workshops and are finding it hard to kick the habit.
Sylvie Meltzer (she/her) is a workshop and teaching artist dedicated to storytelling. She has spent the past fifteen years collaborating with other humans to tell their stories. Sylvie is passionate about nurturing people to ‘get up and have a go’. She has become very adept at working with pretty much nothing, to make seriously something. Sylvie’s work ranges from the spectacle of thousands of students dancing, to the intimate spaces of homes, halls, sheds, tents, zoom windows and under the stars. Sylv also loves glitter. Melinda (Min) Hetzel (she/ her) is an interdisciplinary artist living and working as a guest on unceded Wurundjeri Country in Naarm (Melbourne). Her practice centres around collaboration and facilitating creative processes, and frequently involves family and friends. Melinda works across performance and installation. With artist-led collective, Melinda Hetzel & Co, she specialises in creating intimate arts experiences in public space. She is fascinated with how live arts, in combination with digital technologies, can affirm threads of interconnectedness between human beings and the rapidly changing world in which we live. Min loves unfinished drawings, teapots and old boots. |
